Overview

Switching the transient process (to cut off inductive load, relay contact bounce, etc.) usually interferes with other electrical and electronic equipment in the same circuit. This type of interference is characterized by high amplitude, short rise time, high repetition rate and low energy. The pulses appearing in group can charge the junction capacitance of semiconductor devices, which may cause error in the circuits and equipment when accumulated to a certain degree.

EFT/burst generator or transient generator or voltage spike generator is used for evaluating the performance of electrical and electronic equipment power supply, signal, control & earth ports when subjected to electrical fast transient burst interference.

Our EFT/burst generator EFT S/T series are with built-in coupling/decoupling network for single phase or three-phase supply line and a HV terminal to connect a capacitive coupling clamp. Product performance fully comply with IEC/EN 61000-4-4 and GB/T 17626.4 standards.
